Q: What’s your funniest memory of Technoblade?
A: Honestly, all his videos are hilarious, but my favorite moment is from the third Potato War video when he celebrated his victory with humility, only to immediately cut to him taunting Squid Kid, yelling, “SQUID KID YOU LOSE! YOU LOSE THE WAR!” It was so funny watching him spend 9 months battling for a random rank in a pixelated game.
Q: What’s your favorite Technoblade quote or video?
A: I have over 120 favorite quotes saved (lol), but apart from “TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES,” I love, “Of course, I don’t suffer from hubris, because hubris is a flaw, and I am perfect.” And, “It’s okay, I’m in the process of becoming hot right now.” As for videos, I find myself rewatching the Potato War series and his MCC champion stream with the SBI team quite often!
Q: What inspired your artwork?
A: I created this piece on Techno’s birthday, pulling inspiration from religious murals and paintings. Techno was often called the Blood God, and I've always seen him as something divine—an angel in a sense. I wanted to portray him with that kind of reverence. In the community, there's always debate on whether to represent Techno as an anime protagonist or a pig, but to me, it’s Alex who gave soul to Technoblade. That's why I tried to capture Alex's spirit in my work, reflecting just a hint of his remarkable soul.
Q: What do you appreciate most about the Techno community?
A: Aside from our fun fan-artist debates, I love how we all come together to disrupt Techno’s lore. It’s what makes his live streams so funny, and it really sets his community apart. I also adore how many of us are keeping his legacy alive—like Twitter accounts that share sweet memories or fans who take his plushie on adventures. I’m proud to be part of it; I recently climbed a 5400m snow mountain and brought Techno with me to the summit!
