Q: What was your inspiration behind the piece we’ll be featuring?

  • 1. The inspiration for this piece came from a song Philza shared during a livestream, "Long Live the Queen", as well as an excellent video by a fellow fan creator. After understanding the lyrics, I cried… "We'll live to dance another day."

  • 2. The inspiration came from a game I was really into at the time. I thought maybe he would like it too? So, combining the game's features, I drew his in-game avatar.

3. This artwork was created to celebrate his birthday. I hoped he could always be happy and joyful, proud of his legendary achievements and laughing out loud because of them. I also wanted to incorporate the love from all fan creators in the community into the piece. And so, this was born.

Q: Where are you from?
A: I'm from China.

Q: What’s your funniest memory of Technoblade?
A: I'm not sure if this counts as interesting, but these are some memories that left a deep impression on me. Actually, it was through scattered yet numerous video clips, combined with Technodad's replies I saw on Reddit, that I got to feel his personality—he never shows off until he's fully satisfied with everything he does. His calm, rational, proactive, intelligent, and gentle core deeply attracted me.

Q: What’s your favorite Technoblade quote or video?
A: I think it was Skyblock Wars“the deadliest sword in skyblock”, one of the videos I find the most entertaining from Techno. That video literally cured my whole day's fatigue because I was laughing so hard, how can someone be this funny? The pigman sword that caused the death of 1.2 million mobs is definitely the deadliest sword in all of Skyblock!!! Of course, there are so many more videos and moments I love—my Techno favorites folder is packed with them, haha.

Q: What’s your inspiration behind your piece(s) of art?
A: A lot of my inspiration comes from sudden sparks of ideas. Like when I see a certain word or sentence, I might suddenly think, "Oh, this could go really well with Techno." Of course, the most important starting point is my original intention to draw many different versions of Technoblade.

Q: What do you appreciate most about the Techno community?
A: It's been wonderful, truly wonderful! At first, I just wanted to be "some unimportant person" quietly sharing my fan creations to express my admiration for him. But I've found that, whether it's the domestic or international community, everyone is incredibly warm and friendly, and everyone is working hard for Techno.
